Energy Efficiency Visit to Denmark
On 8-13 October 2017, Indonesian delegation consisting of government officials, own-state enterprise and private representatives visited Denmark to learn the Danish’s successful stories on energy transition and particularly about energy efficiency technologies and solutions. The study tour was financed and organised by the Danida Environmental Support Programme. The visit aimed to benefit Indonesia by addressing energy challenges and barriers through lesson learnt from the Danish experience in energy efficiency sector.
Visiting to UN City Complex Building in Copenhagen
On the first day (9/10), the delegation visited the office of Danish Energy Agency in Copenhagen and discussed a wide range of energy policy with relevant Danish stakeholders. The Indonesian delegation gained beneficial experience and insight such as building codes, carbon tax and voluntary agreement for industries.
On 10-12 October the group went to Hoje Tastrup, Nordjylland, Aalborg and Arhus to visit efficient building complex, cement processing plant and several industries complex. The delegation learnt from first-hands about Danish solutions in energy efficient. In Nordjylland, the delegation experienced and saw a comprehensive showcase from one of the most efficient combined heat & power (CHP) in the world.
On the last day (13/10), the group visited ‘State of Green’, a public-private partnership founded by the Danish government and the Danish industry associations, which serves as a one-stop platform for information on clean energy solutions and investments. On this occasion, the Indonesian delegation had opportunities to meet with the Danish energy efficiency-related companies and to experience the information facilities of ‘State of Green’.
