If the answer is ‘yes!’ you might be our new colleague in our development programme! The Embassy of Denmark in Jakarta is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced National Programme Officer on Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation who wants to play a crucial role in Denmark’s Environmental Support Programme for Indonesia (ESP3).
The ESP3 pilot projects in Central Java have gone through a detailed and careful preparation phase, but are now approaching the critical point of going out for tender.
An Indonesian delegation, with representatives from Indonesian public and private stakeholders, recently returned from Copenhagen where they experienced and learned about successful Danish policies, concepts, solutions, technologies, and cases in energy generation based on waste from agriculture, forestry, agro-industry/food production and households.
On the 3rd of October, Indonesia launched a new programme to improve the management of forests and better livelihoods for the forest-based communities. The newly released Forest Investment Program is a collaboration between The Ministry of Environment and Forestry and, the World Bank and The Embassy of Denmark in Indonesia. The goal of the programme is to improve forestry management in Indonesia and secure better livelihoods for forest-based communities.
